the granting of an approved status to an academic institution by an accrediting body after examination of its courses and standards.
Lisa Svecla's dedication and commitment to fostering and developing her students in the dance world led her to successfully develop a Student Dance Teacher Training Certification Program. It provides training for student dancers who wish to make the transition from dancer to dance teacher and/or choreographer. Each student earns 3 to 5 credits towards their high school diploma after they have successfully completed this program which includes both theory and practical hours.
Other programs that are being considered for accreditation are the Dance Study Program and the Career Enhancement Program.
